MAT

Miller Analogy Testing
The Villanova Counseling Center is an official testing site for the MAT.

The MAT is required for entry into many graduate programs. It is a computer-based, high-level mental ability test requiring the solution of problems stated as analogies.

When:
Testing occurs every Thursday (except for holidays)
Arrive by 10:20 am
Testing and registration 10:30 am – 12:00 pm

Reservations Needed: One to two weeks in advance, contact the University Counseling Center's MAT information line at (610) 519-6188.

Payment: $70 cash or check, payable to Villanova University

ID Required: 2 forms of ID needed – government issued photo ID, plus birth certificate or Social Security card

**If you have taken the GRE in the last 12 months, you will need a retest admission ticket.

Where: The Villanova Counseling Center offices, located in Room 206, Health Services Building

Directions:
PA turnpike South
I-476 South to exit 13 – Villanova / St. David
Turn right at the bottom of the ramp on to Rt 30 East  (also known as Lancaster Avenue)
5^th signal light – Turn right on to Ithan Road
Turn left at the main gate
The Counseling Center building is located at the Main entrance to campus, across from the Pavilion and the Business School
